Madeline has been with Janet and I at the lake this weekend. We built a lean-to (she calls it a "structure" - perhaps the engineer in her) and she really enjoyed using it as her hideway and place to paint pictures. Janet got her some paint and brushes and she has enjoyed painting.

You parents are awesome! What incredible memories you are making with our girl :-) I remember sitting on Grandpa's lap and driving clear as a bell - she'll remember this the same way (of course we now know that driving on Grandpas lap probably wasn't safe, but that's not the point :-)
